Please Sir, Can I Have Some More? is a collection of politically charged folk and rock songs examining modern Britain through satire, frustration and direct observation. Rather than attempting to offer balanced debate, the album presents a clear viewpoint, challenging political decisions, public institutions and wider cultural change with unapologetic honesty.
Background
The album was assembled over several months, bringing together new material alongside earlier songs that deserved a second life. Rather than abandoning ideas as the project evolved, several tracks were completely rewritten and rearranged, with some originally existing in entirely different musical styles before becoming part of this record. The result is a collection that reflects both the evolution of the music and the development of RebelliousBard as a project.
