As Delivered expands on the themes introduced in Face Value, turning its focus inward. Built around understated electronic arrangements and thoughtful, uncluttered songwriting, the EP explores the emotional cost of constantly meeting expectations, maintaining composure and searching for fulfilment through achievement. The result is a collection of songs that balance momentum with quiet reflection, revealing the human experience beneath carefully maintained control.
Background
While Face Value questioned the stories people tell one another, As Delivered examines the stories people tell themselves. The songs follow moments of performance, responsibility and completion, asking what remains once the pressure fades and the role has been played. Throughout the EP, Silent Function continues its measured approach, using minimal electronic textures and restrained lyrics to explore identity, expectation and the often unnoticed gap between functioning well and feeling whole.
