One Good Day opens Different Day with a quiet celebration of ordinary luck. Nothing miraculous happens. A bus arrives on time, the milk is still fresh, a friend gets in touch. Sometimes that’s enough.
Woke up before the alarm this time
Didn’t hate everything straight off, that’s a sign
Kettle boiled quick, no weird noise from the pipe
Even the milk’s still good, check the date twice
Bus pulled up just as I got there, no sprint
Driver nods like he’s seen me exist
Got a window seat, headphones sit right
Same old playlist but it’s hitting alright

Just a day that’s… going through
