I don’t know what comes next.
I’m quite enjoying that.

For the Time Being is five songs from a period when my life stopped looking quite how it had for eleven years. Some of it is about what I left behind, including a few things I probably should have noticed sooner. Some of it is about buying clothes I wouldn’t normally wear, seeing someone without deciding what to call it, and discovering that an evening alone can just be an evening alone. I haven’t worked everything out, and I’m not particularly interested in pretending I have. This is where I am at the moment. For the time being, that’ll do.

Some weekends are remembered.
Most are simply lived.

Friday Queue brings together three snapshots of ordinary life after the working week ends. One person is still delivering takeaways while everyone else is heading out. Another is still awake long after midnight with little more than a cold cup of tea and a glowing phone for company. Somewhere in between, tomorrow always feels like the day everything will finally get sorted. Rather than chasing big moments, the EP finds its stories in the routines, conversations and quiet hours that so often pass unnoticed.

What happens is one thing.
What you carry from it is another.

As Delivered is a collection of songs about the distance between an experience and the meaning we give it. Conversations change through what is said and what isn’t, familiar behaviour becomes automatic, and anticipated endings fail to provide the resolution expected of them. Across four tracks, small moments become points of recognition, where what seemed clear at the time looks different once it has been allowed to settle.

Somewhere between where you were

Halfway Chapters finds Lisa Coles taking stock without pretending everything has been resolved. Across four songs, old expectations are reconsidered, messages remain unsent, familiar habits become harder to dismiss and carefully managed conversations reveal more than intended. These are not dramatic turning points, but smaller moments when you recognise something about yourself, even if you haven’t quite decided what to do about it yet.

Across four songs, The Fault Archive moves between outward defiance and uncomfortable self-examination: recognising the moment a boundary is crossed, the lies used to preserve a familiar version of ourselves, and the quiet process by which something once unacceptable can eventually become normal.

until you notice how little space is left.

Controlled follows the quiet discipline of systems that never appear to fail, only tighten. Across four songs, Indi-Glo Blue looks at rehearsed calm, constant observation, narrowed margins and the subtle pressure that keeps everything technically intact. Nothing dramatic has to happen. The frame holds, the language stays measured, and the adjustments continue until constraint begins to pass for order.

Low White Light follows Lisa Coles through three different kinds of restraint: finding comfort away from the noise, learning when not to react, and finally questioning the boundaries she has built around herself. Across the EP, quietness gradually changes from somewhere to hide into something she actively chooses.
