Government of Oops (National Embarrassment Tour) finds RebelliousBard surveying the Labour government as less a functioning administration than an increasingly elaborate travelling farce. Broken promises, abandoned policies, U-turns, excuses and carefully staged announcements pile up until incompetence itself starts to look like the only consistent policy. This isn’t a song waiting patiently for the government to find its feet. It’s the sound of someone who has already concluded that the people promising to fix Britain have become another part of the problem.
